 Domestic Animal Management Plan

The Domestic Animal Act 1994 requires every council in Victoria to develop a domestic animal management plan to outline how it will enforce the Act and educate the community about responsible pet ownership.

The Plan is reviewed on an annual basis.

Council adopted a reviewed Domestic Animal Management Plan 2017-21 at its 19 March 2019 meeting.  The reviewed Plan outlines a series of programs and actions to be undertaken by Council over the next 12 months.

If you have any questions about the Plan, please contact Council on (03) 5795 0000 and request to obtain a copy of Local Laws.
