Major Flood Recovery Works commence

Flood recovery works have commenced at a number of locations across the Strathbogie Shire this week.

Strathbogie Shire Council’s Director of Community Assets, Roy Hetherington said it is great to be able to commence works packages to restore the shire’s damaged infrastructure.

“Now that works are underway, Council is able to communicate more information about the planned timing of works,” Mr Hetherington explained.

Works are planned to commence on the following identified roads in the timeframes provided: 

  • Horse Gully Road (Currently underway)
  • Siems Road (Currently underway)
  • Broughans Road (6 weeks)
  • Burnside Road (6 weeks)
  • Seebers Road (4 weeks)
  • Sugarloaf Road (2 weeks)
  • Mt Wombat Road (2 weeks)
  • Old Euroa Road (4 weeks)
  • Geodetic Road (4 weeks)
  • Heals Road (2 weeks)
  • Walker Road (2 weeks)
  • Wood Road (4 weeks)
  • Osheas Road (4 weeks)
  • McBurneys Road (6 weeks)
