About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to effectively lead our diverse Community Safety department to achieve high quality service delivery in area’s including Environmental Health, Local Laws, Emergency Management, Planning Compliance and Animal Management.

Reporting to the Director Community & Planning you will be responsible for ensuring compliance is achieved in accordance with relevant legislation to enhance community safety as well as executing objectives identified in the Council and annual business plans.

  • The ability to make timely and well considered decisions.
  • Proven ability to identify and analyse an unspecified range of options before a choice can be made.
  • The ability to exercise judgement when dealing with complex or technical issues.
